First chapter is officially drawn.

The first chapter has finally been drawn, thats the first of 24. Now each 'chapter' is 8 pages, but that does not mean my progress is going badly, on the contrary, I have already pencilled six pages from chapter 2, all of chapter 3, six pages of chapter 4, (none of chapter 5 yet), and 4 pages from chapter six. Leaving only 16 pages left to draw in the first quarter.

Grave Danger

I set myself the target over the Easter Holiday of completing the first quater of the book. Before the break there were two chapters nearly completed one more chapter had been started, and three chapters had not been touched. In the first week of the holidays I have nearly completed one chapter and drawn the last two frames of the next chapter. that means I have two chapters to do in their entirity and four more that need finishing. The next chapter (chapter 4) should be the easiest as it contains the most action, which is the easiest to imagine and therefore to draw, chapter 5 has a fair amount of dialogue, which is hard to visualise in a way that is interesting. But on the bright side I think this particular frame is really nice. And yes, this man has only got one leg.

Welcome to new Blog

Welcome to my new blog.

This is where I will put news about the progress of my Angels in the West Graphic Novel.

I've been making good progress this week with an average of two pages produced a day. The page count at the moment is about thirty eight pages, with a target of two hundred by the summer break. Hopefully I can get the first quarter of the book drawn in the next two weeks. That would be another thirty four pages, (each quater of the book is fifty pages but as i haven't been writing the story's in sequence but rather by which bits of the story interest me most, there are a lot of pages completed from the second and third quaters of the story.)

At the moment I'm completing all the sections that directly concern the deputy, pobably the most interesting character in the story at the moment and certainly the character with the best influence on the story.

I intended to put up previews occasionally until the story is completed. Hopefully avoiding any serious spoilers.
